Ostrich with Head Down, 1909-10
An early, twentieth century, fine quality bronze model of an ‘Ostrich with Head Down’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting in bronze it was signed, numbered and stamped in the wax. This cast has a rich dark brown patina.
