Jabiru, c. 1911-1912
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a stork entitled ‘Jabiru’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Hebrard Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax. It has a brown patina with golden highlights.
