Eight Fennecs, 1926
A highly unusual, rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a group of eight fennec foxes entitled ‘Fennecs du Sahara’. This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry in Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax. It has a warm brown patina with black undertones.
