Crouching Jaguar, 1908
A fine quality, early twentieth century impressionistic bronze model of a ‘Crouching Jaguar’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian,1884-1916). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Hebrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘R. Bugatti’ ‘A. A. Hebrard Cire Perdue’. This cast has a medium brown patina with darker brown undertones
