Canna Antelope, 1909-1910
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century impressionistic bronze model of a ‘Canna Antelope’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This sculpture was cast using the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, stamped, inscribed and numbered in the wax ‘R. Bugatti, A.A. Hébrard Cire Perdue’, ‘Antilope Canna’. This cast has a warm brown patina.
