Family of Greater Kudu, 1911
A unique, fine quality, early twentieth century impressionistic bronze model of a family of Greater Kudu Antelopes by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast using the lost wax process by the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed, inscribed, dated and stamped in the wax: ‘R. Bugatti, ‘Antilopes Goudou’ 1911, A.A. Hébrard, Cire Perdue’.
