Guinea Pig, Silver, c. 1919
A good quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a Guinea Pig by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Susse Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax ‘Sandoz’, ‘Susse Fres’. It has a silver patina.
