Percheron Stallion, 1907
A fine quality, rare, early twentieth century bronze model of a Percheron Stallion entitled ‘Étalon Boulonnais’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Hébrard foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘Rembrandt Bugatti’, ‘A. A. Hébrard’, ‘Cire Perdue’. This bronze has a rich dark brown patina.
