A Family of Yaks, 1910
A unique, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Family of Yaks’. This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Hebrard Foundry in Paris. Before casting it was signed, inscribed, and stamped in the wax ‘R Bugatti’, ‘Piece Unique’, ‘A.A. Hébrard cire perdue’. It is a unique piece and has a medium brown patina with dark brown undertones.
