Seated Siamese Cat, 1921
A rare, good quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Seated Siamese Cat’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This bronze was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris, France. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax and has a warm brown patina with golden brown highlights and is mounted on a wooden base.
