Rabbit with both Ears Up, 1919
An exceptionally rare, good quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Rabbit with Both Ears Up’, entitled ‘Lapin en Boule’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Susse Frères Foundry in Paris, France. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax. This cast has a warm brown patina with golden brown highlights.
