Owl, Silver, 1922
A fine quality, early twentieth century silvered bronze model of an ‘Owl’ by Edouard Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax and has an unusual silver patina.
