A fine quality, early twentieth century blue ceramic model of a ‘Cat Sleeping’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This piece which was produced by the porcelain manufacturer Haviland. It is signed ‘Ed. M. Sandoz SC’ and marked ‘Theodore Haviland, Limoges, France, Copyright’, ‘Deposé’.
