Albéric Collin

A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Begging Monkey’ by Albéric Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This sculpture was cast in bronze using the lost wax process by the Fonderie Nationale des Bronzes, Brussels. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax and has a brown patina with gold undertones.
