Yak, 1910
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Yak’ by Alberic Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This sculpture was cast in bronze using the lost wax process by the Claude Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, dated and stamped in the wax and has a dark brown to black patina.
