Duckling, 1919
A good quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Duckling’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This sculpture was cast in bronze using the lost wax process at the Susse Frères Foundry, Paris, France. Before casting it was signed, inscribed and stamped in the wax. This cast has a warm brown patina with golden highlights to the beak and legs.
