Young Bateleur Eagle, c. 1920
A rare, fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Young Bateleur Eagle’ by Alberic Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Valsuani foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped. This example has a dark brown patina with lighter reddy brown undertones.
