Cat Stretching, c.1925
A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Cat Stretching’ by Alberic Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the C. Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax: ‘Alberic Collin’, ‘C Valsuani Cire Perdue’. This example has a warm brown patina with red and green undertones.
