Batleur Eagle, Head Turned, c. 1920

Albéric Collin

A rare, fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Batleur Eagle, Head Turned’ by Alberic Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the C. Valsuani foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped. This example has a green patina with under laying brown.
