Leopard at Rest, 1921
A rare, fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Leopard at Rest’ by Alberic Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the C. Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, dated and stamped in the wax. This example has a dark brown patina with lighter reddy brown undertones.
