Red Stag, 1926

Albéric Collin

A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Red Deer’ by Alberic Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This sculpture was cast using the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax. This sculpture has a dark brown patina with lighter reddy brown undertones.
