Chien a sa Toilette, c.1920
A good quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Chien a sa Toilette’ by Paul Troubetzkoy (Italo-Russian, 1866-1938). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry, Paris. It was signed and stamped in the wax and has a dark brown patina with reddy highlights.
