Enrico Caruso, 1912

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of ‘Caruso’ by Prince Paul Troubetzkoy (1866 – 1938). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Faruffini and Ottolina foundry, Milan in 1912. It was signed, dated and inscribed in the wax: ‘Paul Troubetzkoy’. This cast has a light brown patina with dark brown undertones.
