Two Cowboys Catching Up, c. 1921
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of two cowboys entitled ‘Catchin’ Up’ by Prince Paul Troubetzkoy (Russian, 1866 – 1938). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed, dated and inscribed in the wax. It has a brown patina with golden undertones.
