Elephant Feeding, c. 1915
An early twentieth century bronze model of an ‘Elephant Feeding’ by Paul Troubetzkoy (Russian, 1866-1938). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Roman Bronze Works foundry in New York. Prior to casting it was signed, dated and inscribed in the wax. It has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
