Picador and Bull, Un Puyazo, c. 1912
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Picador and bull entitled ‘Un Puyazo’ by Herbert Haseltine (American, 1877-1962). This sculpture was cast in bronze using the lost wax process at the Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed in the wax ‘Herbert Haseltine’ and inscribed ‘Valsuani Fondeur’. It has a dark brown patina with golden highlights.
