A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Guinea Fowl’ by Francois Pompon (French, 1855-1933). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Hebrard Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed, numbered and stamped in the wax ‘Pompon’, ‘A. A Hebrard Cire Perdue’ and has a mottled dark brown and green patina.
