Crane, c. 1926
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Crane’ by Francois Pompon (French, 1855-1933). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax and has a brown patina.
