Polo Pony, c. 1925
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Polo Pony’ by Herbert Haseltine (American, 1877-1962). This bronze has a rich dark brown patina with reddy brown highlights and is mounted on its original antique green veined marble base and inscribed on a bronze plaque affixed underneath is ‘British Champion Animals, Second Set, Polo Pony © Haseltine.
