Ralla, Champion Polo Pony, 1910

Herbert Haseltine

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a Polo Pony entitled ‘Ralla’ by Herbert Haseltine (American, 1877 – 1962). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Valsuni foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed, inscribed and dated in the wax. It has a black and brown with golden undertones and the bronze including the base is 25cm high.
