Aristide Maillol

A fine quality, rare, early-twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Young Woman Kneeling’ by Aristide Maillol (1861 – 1944). This sculpture was edited by Ambroise Vollard and cast using the sand cast process by the Florentin Godard Foundry, Paris. It is signed with Maillol’s initials ‘A. M’ and has a dark brown patina with subtle green overlay.
