Three Owls, c. 1935
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze of ‘Three Owls’ by Sirio Tofanari (Italian, 1886 – 1969). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Beneduce Marinelli Foundry in Florence. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax. It has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
