Thoroughbred Horse Walking, 1865-1881
A fine quality, early twentieth century impressionist bronze model of a ‘Thoroughbred Horse Walking’ by Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting this bronze was signed, stamped and numbered in the wax. It has a brown patina.
