Pharoah Hound ‘Love’, c. 1850

A rare, good quality, nineteenth century bronze model of a seated Pharoah Hound entitled ‘Love’ by Christophe Fratin (French, 1801 – 1864) This bronze was produced using the sand casting process in Paris. It is signed ‘Fratin’ and inscribed ‘LOVE’ and has a warm brown patina with golden undertones.
