Panther, 1925
A fine quality early twentieth century bronze model of a Walking Panther by Francois Pompon (French, 1855 – 1933). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process, probably at the Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting, it was signed in the wax by the artist and has a dark brown patina with lighter brown undertones.
