Mandrill, c. 1930
A rare, fine quality early twentieth century bronze of a ‘Mandrill’ by Sirio Tofanari (Italian, 1886 – 1969). This bronze was cast by the Gusmano Vignali foundry in Florence and is signed ‘Tofanari’ and has a warm brown patina with darker undertones.
