Cheval en Marche, 1881
A fine quality early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Walking Horse’ by Edgar Degas (French, 1834 – 1917). Prior to casting in bronze by the Hébrard Foundry it was signed, stamped and numbered in the wax. This cast has a warm rich red brown patina with dark brown undertones.
