Bear in Nightcap and Slippers, c. 1850

A fine quality, nineteenth century bronze model of an anthropomorphic ‘Night time Bear’ in nightcap and slippers by Christophe Fratin, (French 1801-1864). This bronze is signed ‘FRATIN’ and has a brown patina with golden undertones.
