Sick Bear with Nurse, c. 1850

A good quality nineteenth century bronze model of two bears, entitled ‘Sick Bear with Nurse’ by Christophe Fratin (French, 1801 – 1864). This bronze, signed ‘Fratin’, has a dark brown patina with lighter brown highlights.
