Standing Woman Arranging her Hair, c. 1898
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a Standing Woman Arranging her Hair entitled ‘Rosita’ by Aristide Maillol (French, 1861 – 1944). This bronze, signed by the artist with his monogram ‘M’ within a circle, was edited by Ambroise Vollard and produced using the sand cast process, by Florentin Godard between. It has a rich warm brown patina with golden undertones.
