Little Owl, 1923
A good quality, rare twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Little Owl’ by Francois Pompon (French, 1855 – 1933). This sculpture was cast in bronze using the lost wax casting process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. This cast is signed ‘Pompon’ and has an unusual mottled brown and black patina with green verdigree.
