Macaw, 1930
A unique, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Macaw’ by Francois Pompon (French, 1855 – 1933). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the sand casting process at the Andro Foundry, Paris. It is signed and inscribed and has a warm brown patina with green undertones.
