Crow, 1928
A fine quality, rare and important, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Crow’ by Francois Pompon (French, 1855 – 1933). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the C. Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting, it was signed and stamped in the wax and has a dark brown and black patina.
