Wildebeest, c. 1930
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Wildebeest’ by Thierry Van Ryswyck (Belgian, 1911-1958). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting in the wax is was signed and inscribed and has a brown patina and is mounted on a period onyx base.
