Throne Chair, c. 1900

Carlo Bugatti

A fine quality, early twentieth century ‘Throne Chair’, by Carlo Bugatti (Italian, 1856-1940). This chair was produced circa 1900 with ebonised wood deocorated with bone inlay, applied hammered copper relief and parchment. The backrest has original watercolour decoration.
