Hare and Pheasant, c. 1850

A pair of nineteenth century bronze plaques depicting a Hare and a Pheasant by Pierre Jules Mene (French, 1810 – 1879). These plaques are mounted on wood and signed ‘P.J. Mene’. They have a brown patina with golden undertones.
