A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a dancing faun entitled ‘Le Faune Dansant’ by Joseph Bernard (French, 1866 – 1928). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, stamped and numbered in the wax and has a dark brown patina with green undertones.
