Herakles the Archer, 8th Study, 1909
A rare, good quality, lifetime cast of ‘Herakles the Archer’ by Emile-Antoine Bourdelle (French, 1861-1929). This bronze, the final study with stylised face, was cast by the sand cast process at the Alexis Rudier Foundry, Paris, and has a dark reddy brown patina.
