A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Female Torso’ by Joseph Bernard (French, 1866 – 1928). This sculpture was cast by the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘J. Bernard’, ‘A. A Hébrard Cire Perdue’ and has a dark brown patina with reddy brown undertones.
