Herakles the Archer, Naturalistic Face, c.1909
A rare, early, fine quality, lifetime cast of ‘Herakles the Archer’ with a naturalistic face by Emile Antoine Bourdelle (French, 1861-1929). This bronze was produced by the sand cast process at the Alexis Rudier Foundry, Paris. This cast has a rich medium brown patina with darker brown undertones.
